This was a catch up week in the OklaRoots home. We started October with a nice and easy quilt block, for month number 9 of the Cotton Cuts Mystery Quilt. And ended the week with a surprise get together that I'll never forget.

My first order from Whimsical Fabric Designs came in, and it did NOT disappoint. They have so many fun options for vinyl, I feel like I didn't buy enough. Clear vinyl too!

A moment I'll never forget: getting to meet so many wonderful people at the Sew Magical Expo! It felt like a reunion of strangers that were always meant to be friends. There's really no way to describe how wonderful it was to be surrounded by so many incredible artists. For most this was a fun adventure, for some it took a lot of courage to bring themselves there, and for others there is hope they'll be a part of this sewing convention next year. Incredible friends and the most welcoming group. I highly recommend joining this in the future if you can!
