We made it! We made it to Month 12 of the OklaRoots Block Party! Can you believe it?

For all of you adventurous quilters out there, here's a fun bonus block!

I cannot believe we're about to leave 2020. I become so nostalgic this time of year, looking back on all that's changed. Honestly my head kind of spins when I see everything we've experienced over the last 12 months! But if I could only say one thing about what I've learned this year, it would be that strangers can become family in the blink of an eye. I've never felt so close to so many, while being so far away. 

How is it already November?! What happened to October?

Happy October!! If you're in the Northern Hemisphere you may be experience that lovely chill in the air, with that magical "fall smell". For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, I'm sure the warm afternoons are a welcome change. This month's block is a really fun one.... and might be my favorite of the entire party... we'll see!

How do you usually feel about September? Ready for summer to wrap up? Cool fall crisp air rolling in? Excited to spend some more time indoors snuggled up with Netflix?

You've made it to August! Question: Do you consider August part of Fall or Summer? I know I know, it's technically a summer month. But, you can feel the anticipation of fall, right? Pumpkin spice will start showing up this month. Fall decor will start coming out. So..... I say forget seasons. Let's get our fall on!

Happy July quilty friends! I can't believe we're already to month 5 of our Block Party! I've had such a fun time making these and seeing your versions. This month we're working on - wait for it - partial seams! To be honest, partial seams get a bad rap. They are much easier than they seem and help you create all kinds of beautiful block designs. So give it a shot and let me know what you think!
